Il y a surement des petites choses qui peuvent être améliorées ;-)

New York's nickname is « The Big Apple ». The name given to the tall buildings is (c'est le nom qui est donné donc) skyscrapers. New York was first called New Amsterdam. There are 5 boroughs in New York : their names are Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island and Bronx. France offerd (la France est celle qui offre, pas celle qui se voit offrir donc pas was offered mais offered) the Statue of Liberty in 1886. Frederic Auguste Bartholdi and Gustave Eiffel sculpted (sculpted - si tu veux utilisé was sculpted : the statue was sculpted by .... ) -. The Statue of Liberty was an important symbol for immigrants in the 19th century and early 20th century. It is on Liberty Island. The immigrants stopped at Ellis Island before entering the United States. Wall Street is the home of the New York Stock Exchange. The name given to the World Trade Center is the twin towers but they were destroyed by terrorists in September 11th 2001. The term used to describe the site now is Ground Zero. The Hudson river separates New York City from the state of New Jersey. Baseball is most popular sport (pas de the devant le sport, et emploi du superlatif si le baseball est le sport le plus populaire) . The 5th Avenue is considered as one of the main (principal) shopping streets in the world. In New York there are big (utilise peut être plus famous | major que big) monuments: the Statue of Liberty, the (car il y a building) Empire State Building. Its main (ses theatres) theatres are Shubert, Imperial. Its main museums are : Guggenheim and the Met. There are two famous bridges : the Verrazano Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge. In Mahnattan, there are lots of districts: Little Italy,Chinatown,Harlem...

J'ai changé certaines tournures de phrases et j'ai notamment employé des pronoms relatifs ou connecteurs logiques (which, who, where, that's why...).

Bonne Chance pour ton oral!

Tu peux mettre " The Big Appele has a population of more than 8 Million Inhabitants . In the past New York was called New Amstersdam because it was founded by people who came from Holland " & Pour Les Bogroughs " There are 5 Boroughs in New York such as Queens , Manhattan , Brooklyn , Staten Island And Bronx " Le " such as " sa rend la phrase mieux (: ! Ensuite tu peux dire " New York was the nation's capital from 1785 to 1790 . In 1664 , New Amsterdam was renamed New York by the English . It was to honour the Duke of York . "
Voilà Voilà Bon Courage !
