La jeune fille au miroir : Norman Rockwell

je dois décrire une œuvre de Norman Rockwell en quelques lignes. Cela est fait j'ai d'abord fait le texte en français puis l'ai traduit en anglais.

J'ai choisie La jeune fille au miroir car je trouvé le tableau magnifique et très réaliste puisque Norman Rockwell étudiait le quotidien sur ses œuvres. La petite fille ressort du tableau avec sa robe blanche alors que le reste de la peinture et très sombre. On voit aussi que sur ses genoux est posé un livre avec un visage dessus. J'aime beaucoup l'expression du visage de la petite fille qui montre un air têtu et enfantin. J'ai remarquai aussi qu'une poupée était juste au pied du miroir ainsi que des objets de toilette tel qu'une brosse, une glace et du maquillage. La glace où se contemple la jeune fille repose sur une chaise. L'encadrement du miroir est assez simple mais met en valeur le reste de la peinture. Le peintre à aussi très bien réussi l'effet de double avec le reflet du miroir.



I chose The girl in the mirror because I thought the picture is fantastic and very realistic because Norman Rokwell studied the daily life on his works. The girl stands out from the picture with her white dress while the rest of paint is dark. We also see a book on her knees why represent a face of someone. I like very much the expression of the face of the girl which shows a stubborn and childish air. I have also noticed that a doll was just at feet of the mirror as well as the items of toilet such as a brush, an ice and of the make-up. The mirror where contemplates the girl rests on a chair.
The frame of the mirror is rather simple but he exploits the rest of paint. The painter in so very well made a success the effect of double with the reflection of the mirror.
