.What can you guess about america's tradition ?America is considerated like a free contry where people can earns money. This country is a hope for eveybody same the poorest.
.What did the statue of liberty symbolise of immigrants.
For immigrant it's the symbole of liberty et hapiness because it's the symbole of America. Furthermore it's the first thing they see when he arrived in USA: they know they are arrived an their difficulty travel are finished. Now they will be happy, and they haven't got problem. (qu'ils n'auront plus de problème)

This poem is engraved on the pedestal of the statue of liberty.

On the forground we can se a couple of immigrant with their children. They are back(Ils sont de dos)and looking at the landscape. Far away in the background we see the Statue of Liberty. One can assume that they located on Ellis Island and they await the end of the quarantine order to set foot in the U.S., their hope.
