Bonjour à tous, je passe un oral d'anglais pour le bac dans 2 semaines et j'aimerai bien que quelqu'un me corrige les fautes de grammaires. J'ai un niveau assez faible donc je m'excuse d'avance des grosses fautes, mais je n'arrive pas à me corriger.. Merci d'avance! 

Où j'en suis dans mon devoir

Voilà mon texte: 

I am going talk about places and forms of power. First of all I would like to give a definition of this notion: « Places » could be important buildings or institutions that represent a certain form of power, for example World Trade center was a symbol of American power for everyone like Empire State Building or the statue of Liberty. Then, a place can also be a country or a state, for example the USA is a state which is powerful enough to influence events throughout the world.

Moreover, the definition of “power” is the ability to exercise a control on somebody, but leads generally to conflict between those who have power and those who don't. Power could be good or bad.

First of all, the first document I have chosen is an extract of an audio recording “Raising money activities”, it deals with the problem of poverty. In fact, we can understand a man would be make the world a better place with money. Actually, more people are victims of a world disaster (a tsunami or an earthquake), of a handicap and of poverty. This men was created an association for full of helping others. For this purpose, association’s raise money with a different method: fund-raising are organized in front of the Supermarket, a decorated float move around the city, for make door-to-door in order to wish merry Christmas and raise money close to people and are organized sporting events. Thanks to this association, holidays, shows and trip are offer to the poor family victim of a world disaster.

Thus, the aim of this men is raise awareness among (sensibiliser) lot off person for help and provide pleasure and happiness. In fact, I think money is very important for survive on this world, but around the world, we can see a million of people living on a poverty, and created association is very important to help them. After listening this audio recording I understand impact of money of different person. And, with this document, we can notice money’s develop team spirit because people help helpless person. Therefor, I distinct two aspect of money. The first aspect is bad, because when you don’t have money, it’s impossible to us to live or to created social relation because poor person are exclusion from society. So, it’s an aspect very unequal. But the second aspect is positive because is the key of became a famous person. For example, Donald Trump was elected because he is very rich and famous, but he don’t have a good culture about politics.

Furthermore, the second document I have chosen is a color draw, representing a shoes factory. This picture don’t have a title and we don’t know the name of the author. But, when we look this picture, immediately we know the main of this document, is to represented the hidden face of globalization. First, we can see three women, they are workers. We can see the name of the brand “Nike”. We can also see three women, they are working, and they are sewing shoes. If we look closer, we can notice the tired face of the workers because they are shadows under their eyes. But, we can notice women have scotch under their mouse, so it’s a symbol of the censorship. And this symbol is very shocking because in France, we protect the condition of working, but in other country, we can see an opposite. We suppose this picture was taken on a developing country, because there are very affect by the globalization. For example, the globalization is very positive for USA because it’s reinforced their power, but, when the famous brand are taking an advantage by the little country it’s not normal. So, this picture denounced the bad conditions of the workers in factory and make it possible to do know where our clothes came from. By the way, I think the States prefer hide the bad aspect of globalization. But lot of people suffer by the poverty. It’s not normal exploit them.

To conclude, before to know this two document, I did not realized the bad aspect of globalization. I’m very revolted because all people work hard during days and night but their conditions and their wages are scandalous. Their are not reward for their good job. I think people have to look documentary or video or reading a journal about this, because we are all affected by this when we buy clothe. So, like the first document, we must help the people, create association and fight inequality. The Union have to rebuild a new law for the developing country and build a good word so as to destroy bad power.
