I am going to talk about the notion “places and forms of power”. First of all I'd like to give a definition of the notion. The term “Places” denotes important buildings or instituions. Power is the ability to control others, events or resources; the ability to make things happen despite obstacles, opposition.  At all times, power has been in the hands of politicians or military chiefs. But power also implies  counter-power, that is to say opposition and resistance.
In order to illustrate this notion I will try to answer the question:how do celebrities use their power to change the world ?
I will base my presentation on two main points
on the one hand How the stars use their art to make cross their ideas and on the other hand how they use their fame to influence public opinion .

1Celebrities are using their art to focus on society problems
Music is really important in our everyday life style.  We listen to music a lot therefore,songs are the best way to put a message across.Let us have a closer look at  a song called « Blue sky mine » by the australian rock band Midnight oil. The song was inspired by the experiences of workers at the Wittenoom asbestos mines who contracted various asbestos-related diseases. The mining company makes big profits while the workers fall sick because of bad working conditions.

2 celebrities are using their star power for good.
because a lot of people knows their names, because they are famous,movie stars or pop stars defend great causes .The most celebrated are given the unique opportunity to have a big impact on society .They use their names to help the have-nots
Recent years have seen a growth industry for celebrities engaged in humanitarian activities. In order to illustrate this i have seen this year the fighting of angelina jolie.
She is well known for being a glamorous Oscar-winning actress and a film director but at this point, she has won even more awards for her global humanitarian efforts ,she became an ardent advocate for the right of refugees.she was named a UNHCR(united nation high commissioner for refugees)goodwill ambassador

conclusion

 many of the world’s most admired celebrities chose to use their platforms for the better. From outspoken advocates for vulnerable people, to activists for amazing causes, many celebrities inspired people with their actions  but at present ,with the development of internet ,people like you and me can put a message across ,or collect money to help have-nots as do jerome jarre for the somalie.
