Sujet du devoir

writers use dialogues to make their stories more livelvy. these dialogues should read like real speech and b easy to follow by readers.
(1)present your dialogue so that readers can make sense of it
read the following extract:now it seems to me you may be right detective smith said and what about the fingerprints johnson had a look at the report he frowned it seems none were found sir
in this example we cannot be sure this is a conversation as many question are unanswered are these words actually spoken?how many people are talking? how and why are the words being spoken?
1) use' appropriate punctuation
-question marks exclamation marks and commas to clarify the meaning;
-quotation marks (no dashes, unlike in French)to indicate words which are spoken by characters
Example: "now it seems to me you may be right",detective smith said"And what about the fingerprints?"Johnson had a look at the report;he frowned;"it seems none were found,Sir"
2)always start a new paragraph when changing speakers.
you cannot have two people speaking in the same paragraph
example: "now ti seems to me you may be right",detective smith said"and what about the fingerprints?"
Johnson had a look at the report;he frowned" it seems none were found, sir"
3)use "speech tags" with verbs such as say, ask, answer, exclaim.
4)add information to stress the character's feelings and reactions
example "now it seems to me you may be right", detective smith said doubtfully."and what about the fingerprints?" Johnson had a look at the report; he frowned."it seems none were found, sir"

Your turn: imagine the dialogue between Donny and Joanne at the end of the end of the text.(80-120 words)

Bonsoir

Cela ne sert à rien de réécrire la même chose 2 fois...
Effectivement ,essaies au moins de nous mettre tes propres idées pour ton texte...
