"Présenter votre nouvel ami new-yorkais" - me corriger - niveau 3eme

J'ai compris le sujet, je l'ai fais mais j'aimerais tout de même de l'aide pour éventuellement corriger les fautes avant de le rendre, car je ne suis pas sûre de l'avoir écrit correctement.

Où j'en suis dans mon devoir

When i was in New-York, i met a nice girl called Amber. She is small and has got a long brown weavy hair. Amber has got gorgeous blue eyes ! She was born on Tuesday April 13th, 1997, in Los Angeles, so she's 16 years old. It's been a year since she lives in the Big Apple.
She studies in one of the best schools of dance : the Juilliard School. She told me that classes are totally different in her school, everyday she starts at 8am with different subjects, but the afternoon she has 3 hours of dancing everyday, except sunday, of course !
She hates chemistry, she finds it really annoying. But she enjoys biology courses !
After school, she always go to see her grandma, in Brooklyn.
Obviously, she's nuts about ballet but she appreciates music, en particularly the Beatles, she's fond of them.
Amber dreams of going at all of the most popular theaters and operas of the world. But she has her feet on the ground, if she doesn't succeed in dancing, she want's to become professor of biology.
To escape the daily, she draws landscapes at Central Park or spends time with her friends.
Amber has the largest collection of nail polish that i've never seen !
She's very funny and cheerful. Everytime she's joking with everybody !

Sometimes, Amber is nostalgic of L.A but she thinks that N.Y. is a wonderful city where we can see a lot of things. She enjoys Halloween parade at Greenwich. However she finds that the most interesting district is Brooklyn with its bridge, and the best monument is the famous statue of Liberty, she visited it more than 10 times !
