Bonjour,

L'expression orale du bac d'anglais approche et je vous soumet donc un de mes textes. ^^

Ici c'est l'ébauche finale de la notion Mythes et Héros . Ma problématique est:  Why do we need heroes?

Pouvez-vous s'il vous plait m'aider à corriger cette expression orale? 

Je tiens à préciser que mon anglais n'est pas bon et malheureusement pour ne rien arranger ma prof n'est pas vraiment bonne non plus ...

I am going talk about the notion Myths and heroes

First of all I would like to give a definition of this notion: A myths can be defined as a story about gods or heroes, it can be a popular belief or a tradition or a false notion. A hero can be a mythological figure, a person who is admired for his or her achievements, a superhero or maybe a role model or an icon.

This year in class we studied several documents about Myths and heroes and in particularly about the mount Rushmore National Memorial or other heroes.

In order to illustrate this notion I have chosen to talk about the heroes who can be perceived as myths

and attempt to answer the question: Why have we need for heroes?

So to answer this question I will present two element: The Mount Rushmore and a the character of martin luther king that I presented in class with the mp3

The national memorial of the Mount Rushmore is situated near Rapid City in the state of the South Dakota in the United States. It is a gigantic sculpture representing the most prominent presidents of the American history.
They all did big things, indeed, we can take the example of Washington and Lincoln who are two heroes of the independence, or still Roosevelt who had the Nobel Peace Prize.
These four presidents are considered as heroes, Indeed their actions were recognized worldwide,they so represent examples for all generation who preceded them.
Similarly Martin Luther King fought to make the more just world. Indeed Luther King militated for black civil right in the United States, for the peace and the poverty.
All these personalities were heroes and they became myths. People them respect so much that they are from now on a reference. When we think fight of the blacks we think necessarily of Luther King.

And people need these heroes, these myths. Indeed we have to have examples to be guided and reassure us in our steps, this is the way the world moves forward. Moreover, we need it because are they who make that people are afraid of making

So the heroes are personalities perceived as myths, which are us necessary to be able to be reassured and have the feeling whom some people are there to make what nobody dares to make
