Le texte :
Hispanics are immigrants in the USA coming from Spanish speacker countrie : such as Mexico, Cuba or Puerto Rico. They represent an important minority in the US. As many immigrants they came to the US to find jobs and have a better life, but of course they have to face many difficulties like the language difficulty, the job and the lodging difficulties so that they can integrate a new society. Yet sometimes they have to face prejudices or racism because some people don't accept them, lacking tolerance.

There are many Hispanics in America. They are immigrants and come from Spanish speaking countries. Most of them are from South America. Their number keeps growing. They face prejudice and racism and have to cope with many difficulties such the language barrier, the logding issue and unemployment.

Pour le reste, on n'a pas le texte alors on ne peut pas y répondre

oui alors le texte est :
Amparo is a pioneer. She is the first woman in her family to graduate from college. Today Amparo, 22, is a high school teacher in New York.

Why is Amparo a teacher ? "I want teenagers to learn about who they are and where their families came from", she says. "That way they can be proud and strong. They can be pioneers and go after their dreams - no matter what people say about them".

When Amparo's family moved to Los Angeles from Mexico, they lived in a city project. Amparo had to be tough to survive. She had to deal with racism and prejudice.

Other people told Amparo Hispanic people weren't supposed to be smart. They told her Mexican people didn't go to college. But her family showed Amparo that what people said was wrong. "My parents taught me to be proud of my Mexican roots," Amparo says. "They told me about the history and culture of their country"

Amparo's pride made her want to do her best. She worked hard at school and got a scholarship to Princeton University, one of the best US colleges.

Now, Amparo talks in her high school about why racism and prejudice are wrong. She takes students to movie like Dance With Wolves. She wants them to see the world through other people's eyes.

"The only way to get rid of racism is to understand other people's cultures, " she says.

Students also should respect themselves and go for their dreams. "We each have a place in history," she adds. " We all belong on this earth no matter who we are.
