In Us schools, cildren start the day reciting the pledge of Allegiance. To do so , they face the flag and put their hands on their
hearts.
I pledge allegiance, one Nation under God , indivisible with liberty and justice for all .
If you were in America, you'd be in the 8th grade , in a Junior High School. Next year you'd go to High School, for four years, from 9th to 12th grade. In each grade , the students have a different name .
In 9th grade you are freshman .
In 10th grade you are a sophomore .
In 11th grade you are junior .
In 12th grade you are senior .
There in no national exam like the Baccalaureat , but regular term exams and continuous assessment. If all goes well , you graduate from High School at the end of you senior year and you can go to college , which means university .

Graduation
At the graduation ceremony , called Commencement , each student receives his or her graduation diploma . What are they wearing for this important day ?
