The name is Cherles Dickens. He was born on the 7tn of the february 1812. His parents were John and Elizabeth Dickens. He had 7 brothers and sisters. Six survived to adulthood.His family moved to London in 1822. He started working at the age of 12 in a factory labelling bottles. He worked 11hours a days. His father lived above his means and was sent to prison for debt.Charles visited himevery sunday.He became a soliitor clerck in 1827 and a journalist in 1837 but he had a passion for writing. He worked during the day and wrote at night. He published his first novel in 1835.Hi married Catherine Howard. And they had many children. He visited the United States in 1842 and Italie in 1844. He got divorced because himet an actress and fell in love with her. He died on the 9th of June 1870 of a stroke. He was buried in Westmirster Abbey.
