Thomas is proud of being the noble lord’s physician son. He is keen on learning all his father acknowledges, he learned medicines to cure ordinary sores, the fives kind of fevers and the four humours. Thomas is very clever and crafty he is interested in soothing his patients but he has also to make them pay. Thomas knows he will be paid only when they are ill, Thomas is also good at speaking to the ill people, it sounds as if he knows what’ s going to happen. Thomas is deceitful and knows how to deceive someone about its health and this way he can for example take the patient’s food making them believe their diet is too rich. He pretends to know the fate of the patient and if the patient dies of course its because he was called to late but if the patient recovers Thomas will boast about it. Thomas is always relieved when his patient get better.
