Myths and heroes

The myth evokes the human condition as a whole, its history transmitted first orally and often embodied by a hero, a place or community. To examine the myths is to look at the heros and stories that found a collective identity. The hero may be a fictional character or real that marked the tradition, history and everyday life.
Why do we need heros? They allow us to have a better life in fiction and in reality. We will first see fictional heroes then the real.
I'll first deal with Robin Hood because i enjoy what he did, it's very brave and sweet and then i'm going to speak about Amelia Earhart, a key and historic woman

We saw a photo of Robin Hood with his bow and arrows to defend himself, he was a fictional hero, an outlaw with a big heart who lived hidden in the wood. Plus, he was a rebel who violated the law to struggle for the needy and oppressed, in fact, he robbed the wealthy to the poor or he gave them back the money which comes from taxes. He wanted to make a better life for the have-not. He is their hero.

Furthermore, there is another kind of "real" heros that we saw, those that are rooted in the History as Amelia Earhart who in 1937 became the first female pilot to fly across the world. Thanks to her, the image of women has changed, they are more respected and considered in this environment because at this time, the women were up to their husbands. She also created an organization for female pilots. It is important to the history of women because it was the beggining of the improvement of the condition of women

I choose those documents because I think they represents the notion, indeed, thanks to them, we live in an advanced society, more opened and more secured even if they have few resources and are sometimes despised. They make us improve our lives and to me, that's a heroes' job, to make things change.
