Hello!
In my presentation, I’ll be talking to you about the movie « Die Welle ».
« Die Welle » or « the wave » in english, is a German thriller produced and directed by Dennis Gansel in 2008.
This movie is taken on a true experience realised in 1967 by Ron Jones who was history teacher at Palo Alto.
The movie is different from the true story because the true experience lasted five days whereas in the movie that lasted six days.
The story takes place in a secondary school. It’s the story of Rainer Wenger who is a history teacher who should introduce the topic of the autocracy to his students .
When his students say it is impossible that a dictatorship reappear in Germany he decided to study with them the basics and rules of a dictatorship.
Step by step, they create a real dictatorship or a community wich called "The Wave". They choose a name, a leader, an outfit, a logo as well as several rules. But students are beginning to impose the wave’s rules to the rest of the school and reject those who don’t follow them. After that, things get worse and during a waterpolo match an argument broke out between members of the wave and the rest of the school. The next day, Saturday, the Hall of the auditorium is filled. Mr Wenger has summoned all members of "The wave". He says that “The Wave” must become increasingly large and important. Also he says that their ideas will change the world and the current society.Students cheering the speech from their leader. Marco one of the main characters is flabbergasted by the worrying situation and intervenes. He is considered a traitor and is taken by force on the dais.
Où j'en suis dans mon devoir
Bonjour, je ne suis pas en classe de première mais je préfère avoir l'avis de personne qui parlent plutôt couramment anglais, je suis en 3ème et je présente une partie de mon oral en anglais et j'aurais voulu savoir si ce que j'avais fait pour l'instant est correcte. Si ce n'est pas le cas pourriez vous m'aider à les corriger. Une réponse assez rapide me serait utile puisque mon oral blanc est mercredi. De plus il me manque une partie assez courte mais importante que je n'ai pas encore fait. Voilà merci d'avance

Salut! je sais pas si ton ou ta prof exige un tel niveau en troisième mais je trouve que ton devoir est plutôt assez bon! Ce que je corrigerais: Le "to you" dans l'intro est de trop selon moi. The movie "is based on" serait mieux. "Ron Jones who was a history teacher".
"The movie is different from the true story because the true experience lasted five days whereas in the movie that lasted six days." --> The movie differs from the true story because of its duration. Where the real experience lasted only five days, the scene in the movie is six days long.
"who should introduce" who has to plutôt non? Il ne devrait pas mais doit le faire.
"say...he decided" il faut faire un choix de temps pour la phrase: soit du présent soit du prétérit. J'aurais plutôt tendance à opter pour la seconde option. donc "his students said"
"wich" je suppose que c'est une faute de frappe mais n'oublie pas le h après le w!
"get....broke out" encore ce problème de temps, Ici choisis le présent de préférence donc "breaks out"
"Students cheering" are cheering si tu veux le present be+ing mais je te conseillerais juste cheer.
"considered as a traitor"
Voilà je pense avoir corrigé le plus gros mais honnêtement, ton devoir est bon pour un élève de 3ème! N'hésite pas à envoyer la suite si tu veux ;)
