Bonjour,
Je dois faire une description d'une photo en anglais et j'aimerais que vous m'aidiez à corriger mes fautes.
(Merci à ceux qui prendrons la peine de lire mon texte jusqu'au bout car il est un peu long)

Où j'en suis dans mon devoir

The document is a photo but we don't know the title and the name of artist. This is a colout photo and what is photographied is a snowy landscape. In fact the landscape is recovered in snow however we can see pine trees and bright point that is the sun. The picture was taken probably at the time of sunrise or sunset.
This photo is composed of three parts. At first in the bottom part of picture, the snow hide entirely the ground and lets not to see the least grass or flower. Next in the top part of photo there is the sky and we note that it is a partly cloudy sky. Between this two parts a row of pine trees separates them. And to the centre we can catch a glimpse of the sunlight who pierce the cloud.
Moreover this bright spot of the sun is a very striking element because it give a very hight contrast with the bluish colors of the landscape. In fact the landscape is in cold tones whereas the sun is in warm tones what strengthen the contrast.
On the other hand we don't say if it is a sunrise or sunset with certainty who is represented because we haven't enought of element for comfirm. It is ether dawn or dusk.
To my mind, since we don't shure that it's a question of sunrise or sunset it may have it two possibility to opinion. Ether we have a view optimistic or pessimistic. In fact, if we think that it il a sunrise so it's a view optimistic because the dawn symbolize the rebirth of nature in the landscape on which there are no living creatures and what may happen next it's the awakening of the nature, animals, the life. The scene conveys also a peaceful mood.
However if we imagine that it's a sunset so it's a view pessimistic because we associate the dusk with the dead. One is under the impression that it's the end of the life and after it's the night, the black, the end (what make fear).
But it's possible for us to have a feeling of solitude.
Personally, I have not view specific because there is not enough of element for say if it's a sunrise or sunset and so I can't choose between this view, I am indecisive.
