Le sujet d'Anglais est : What's so special about English food ?

English food has a bad reputation because of their lack of variety in their preparations. At noon, they eat more food, and this for a long time: they "nibble" of food too oily, too salty, too sweet, not enough vitamins ... and the evening is often a meal tray on the sofa watching TV.
We must not forget that English food is very good, especially if done as it should, with good ingredients and respecting the real recipes. These recipes were lost during the war, and it is the chagrin of British cooking. Before the war, she was highly respected, rustic and calories because it is a cold country. But during the war, women were forced to work and there were two or three generations of women to cooking at home. It was then that British cooking has been lost and that reputation was born of boiled meats, jellies, sweets to accompany the meat ...
England is a country of "beef-eaters." Do not forget that England is an island populated by rivers, the fish is also very present in the British food !
