Sujet du devoir

Bonjour,

He was born on a farm at Dreghorn, in the county of North Ayrshire, Scotland Saturday, 5 February 1840. He then studied veterinary surgeon at the University of Edinburgh and then exercise the profession for almost ten years at home before leaving for Belfast, Ireland, 1867.
In 1887, John Boyd Dunlop without knowing it seems the invention of W. Thomson (invented the first tire from tire rubber glued to a rim, but he abandoned his patent "wheel air") to the idea of surrounding the wooden wheels of the bicycle of his son with tubes rubber filled with air to improve comfort, noise, speed and road grip.
His tire was an instant success in the world of cycling, the great champions of the time using it successfully. John Boyd Dunlop patents the tire air valve with December 7, 1888. But Dunlop's invention does not allow for easy repair in case of puncture.
In 1981 Andre and Edouard Michelin invented the first removable tire with inner area.
Dunlop sold his patent to William Harvey Du Cros cons 1500 shares of the newly created company. It has not made a great fortune from his invention. He died Monday, October 23, 1921 at the age of 81 years in Dublin.
