I'm going to speak about de notion myths and heros. First of all I would like to give a quick definition about this notion. A myth can be defined as a story about gods or heros. It can be a popular belief or a traditionn, or false notion. A hero can be a mythological figure, a superhero, an icon or a person who is admiredfor hIS or hER actions. He or she can have super power or just a lot of courage.

Firstly , We are going  to focus on the myths and precisely about the myths of Suburbia.

We can say that the suburb is utopia. The suburbs are general issue of the upper or middle class. They have a luxurious life because they have lots of goodies like a big fridge, a big car, a big garden. we have seen this in a picture in class. We have seen a picture of a suburbia with a big car next to the house, and rainbow in the sky. With this picture we have seen the magic and the ideal facet of the suburb.
The myths of suburbia, have another ideal of life, they have an ideal family. A good parents whose are very present in the life of their two children. The father went to work (the travel is the fire of the house it that why we say that the suburban commute), and the mother is a house wife. She waits the return of their husband, and has taken over the children's education. In class we have seen too a publicity of the Levittown family in 1948, we can see a wide withe her children whose was perfect, they had typical clothes of a perfect family. The boy had a shirt with short. The girl had dressed, a blond
hair with pony tail. We can say that when people buy a house in suburbia, they buy a dream, and promise of the future

                 This myth is criticized a lot by americans. We can see that in a lot of films or TV shows like The Simpsons or Malcom. I’m going to focus on Desperate Housewives, a TV show that I am studying for a presentation in class. I will see in what this TV show criticizes american suburb. This TV show is about the life of a group of woman that live in Wisteria Lan, a suburbia of Fairview. We can see the caricature of the women, they are not nice, they are not an example for their children, they lie, kill, drink. Their children are not perfect also, we do not find stereotypes of suburbian people. They haven't got blond haire with clumps. On contrary children can ("can be" sans "are" ou "are" sans "can be") be very nasty, a different image that we have. Although they live in luxurious houses, sometimes, they are affected by poverty. It is on this that the myths are criticzed.

                  To finish, I could say that American like and hate the suburbia. It is a dream which are very shade (<--- pas compris ce que tu veux dire). Although they criticize suburbia, They continue to immortalize the myth, because a myth is also the history which crosses the centuries . It is a story with heroes, as the housewifes or the "perfect father working in the city" and anti heroes as Homer Simpson or Desperate housewives!
