Bonjour,

Pour ta seconde partie tu pourrais donner des exemples précis (la fin de la ségrégation raciale par exemple). Tu pourrais aussi parler de Martin Luther King. N'oublie pas de t'appuyer sur des documents que tu as fait en cours car pour certains profs c'est important que tu te reserves de ton cours. Pour la première partie tu pourrais préciser un peu quel sont les nouvelles technologies qui ont été introduites à l'école (vidéo projecteur, ordinateur...) 

Et dans ton introdution tu pourrais parler plsu de l'idée de progrès en général en mentionnant les différents types de progrès sociaux, environnemetaux...

il vaudrait mieux s'informer avec des profs d'anglais ou sur des sites de traduction ainsi que sur vos cahiers d'anglais de l'année ou des autres années.

The progress is a word coming from the Latin progressus, meaning to advance, to move forward. In facts, it designs, more than a physical movement, an ambition, made by a human, that leads to better life conditions. The word progress, take a new meaning with the apparition of the science, economy and the social which create one news form of progress.

First of all, he progress takes place essentially in yourself. The progress mean improvement and there is always an improvement to do in your life. In fact, through the education every person makes a step on the way of the progress. For example, the writing of a personal statement which is a description of yourself for the universities say your point of interest, where do you want to go, what you want to study and to realize later to improve yourself, to progress. In the stranger on the picture is me, we also saw a progression, a change between before and after, between the proud soldier he was before the war and the person he is today.

The justice today possesses a very big role in the promotion of the progress. Justice is all about adaptation to the changes of the modern society. For example, terrorism is a very big subject we studied it in a mock trial, new laws were created to punish terrorist action. Another example is the fact that new laws are created every year because of new affaires. Justice system also changed between yesterday and today, with a judiciary system based on equality. 

In our society we can also see the progress. Every society change with the time we can notice it can progress in a good or a bad manner. For example we studied the gender discrimination between men and women. We saw a little bit about discrimination in India with forced marriage for example or in the entire world and we realised there were a huge progress with the utilisation of different hashtag on twitter like balance ton porc or me too.

In conclusion the idea of progress has a lot of different meanings and takes different degree as we saw with the personal progress, the progress  in justice for more equity and finally the progress in society with the improvement of women conditions all over the world and a more egalitarian world.
