Oral anglais "Myths and Heros"

Bonjour, j'aimerais avoir des avis sur mon oral d'anglais, sur la notion "myths and heroes". Pouvez vous me dire si mes héros vous semble assez intéressants?

I’m going to talk about the notion Myths and Heroes. A hero is a brave person and he helps people all the time. A hero can be fictitious or real but it’s always a good person. A myth it’s an example person and everybody try to look like him. Generally it’s an imaginary person. Myths and heroes are also symbols of peace, fight against inequalities. But, why have we needed for heroes?

Fictitious heroes allow us to dream. Harry Potter for example, makes dream everybody because everybody dreams to have magic power: children, and adults. Harry Potter fights the enemies and would peace in the witchy world. Captain America, it’s a double hero because he was created during the Cold War. In fact, in the fiction Captain America would stop a bomb in direction of the USA. In the reality, Captain America it’s a real propaganda element for the USA in the Cold War. His creator would fight against Nazism. This fictitious hero becomes a real hero.

There are also real heroes who have advanced things. Steve Jobs example, it’s an informatics genius. He was the Pixar cofounder. He created the mouse-driven computer of the smartphone for example. Steve Jobs allowed technological breakthroughs and this sense it’s a real hero. Nelson Mandela was also an hero. For me it’s a model. In fact, he has fight peacefully against the apartheid. The apartheid was a political system in South Africa in which people were divided into racial groups and kept apart by law. In 1962, he went to jail for 27 years. And become a symbol of the racial fight.

For me heroes are very important for dream. They become symbols and fight for peace in the world. Fictitious or real, heroes help us.
